Phase Overview

Phase 1, also called Meadows of Dan, of the Route 58 corridor consisted of 3 miles of new road construction, which began at the intersection of Route 58 and Route 795 heading west to the intersection of Route 58 and Route 600.  It was 4 lanes of divided highway, which included four relocated secondary roads, a service road, an intraparcel road, and a new bridge to carry traffic traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway over the new Route 58.
